Usher Hall 30 / 11 / 09
For those in the U.K. at least, there is a chance to hear the concert with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, in full on the iPlayer. It comes at between 1:18 and 1:47 of this broadcast

I just wanted to comment on this amazing night!! Stuart you are the ONLY man to convince me to travel the country – we live in Manchester and have travelled all over to listen to Belle and Sebastian – Leeds, Manchester, a great night in Scarborough. The God Help the Girl project is amazing, it compelled us to travel to Edinburgh for the weekend and I am so glad we did. A fantastic night was had, I can’t tell you how great the girls were, Stuart you are a musical genius and the SSO were fab!!
My only comment is that I think you should consider bringing the story to the stage as opposed to film, Catherine is so theatrical she would make a great leading lady.
Anyway, thanks for the great night!! Rachelle x

i was hoping to travel from liverpool but couldn`t unfortunately….interesting comment about the stage production, although i think stuart is quite interested in the celluloid production and the mechinics of film..i would pay good money to see stage or film…..the radio shows sounds great…i hope they play again as stuart seems to have hinted this may be their last show…but they just get better and better live………….

I’d like to echo Rachelle’s comments – we also travelled to Edinburgh especially for GHTG element of Sunday’s concerts.
Simply perfect from the orchestral backing to the nailed-on vocals. I’m still buzzing – even the realities of back-to-work have failed to puncture this and Neil Hannon’s appearance at the end capped a truly memorable concert. A privilege to be there.
